I am not sure if this is at all possible, but thought I would ask as we have a lot of people who know all about science here, is there any material that a magnets field will not pass through ? |

Russell, what you need is a variation on the Faraday cage, or more simply just keep them in a steel box. I would suggest that you wrap them in kitchen paper first so that they are easier to remove them from the box! Have a look here it covers different types of magnet. It's the Ne-Fe-B magnets you're interested in.. magnets You want to try isolating the magnet on a mass spectrometer! Colin |

It sounds like the steel cups that Lee Valley sells might help do the trick. |

Supposedly, one should keep them close to the wallet, close to the credit card actually for an hour before the metal ![]() |

If you store them next to your wifes credit cards/atm cards it slows them down but doesn't stop them!!!!!! |

Man! You've got quite the little devilish streak, eh Brock? You should open a chain of stores called "Juvenile Delinquents R Us". ![]() |
